2OM  and 2PU models feature 304 Stainless Steel housing, oil-free motor, Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic impeller, volute, and top cover. It will pass a 0.4” solid and the semi-vortex design is ideal for string algae and organic matter. The 2OM features a fiberglass reinforced plastic semi-vortex impeller for capability and durability as well as dual inside mechanical seals with Silicone Carbide faces to provide the longest life. An oil lifter provides lubrication of the seal faces. 

We also have the maintenance kits for the Tsurumi pumps so you can change/add oil to the pump (not needed in the first few years). It will have simple instructions. The pump should be stored in water to assure that the seals do not dry out, but should be started while still submerged in the water for a few seconds during the winter months so the barrier between the seals and shaft do not fuse together. Both Kits come with a replacement oil plug.
